users want to monitor the status of other IP phone lines in order to
pickup or check before dialing or transferring. Group supervisor may
also want to monitor real time activity of one or several Line Groups
(agents logged in, agents available). IPS Lines
Supervisor take advantage of Cisco IP Phone large LCD screen to monitor
lines status (available, ringing, busy). Contact names are displayed
with an icon showing real time communication status. Lines monitored are
part of one or more Line Group, phone pickup group or phone speed dials. Several monitoring modes are available : always, when idle, on demand, when a pickup group line rings. Pickup ring may be activated automatically on early morning, during lunch break and at evening. Several display
formats are supported : icon menu, graphic mode with 12 or 18
contacts, background for 6 contacts. In graphic mode user can still
select a contact (to dial, transfer or pickup) using soft keys
(next/previous or up/down/right/left).
IPS
Lines Supervisor also allows agent to login or logout of a Line Group.
Icon status may be displayed in background to show group login name and
status.
When
quitting application, user may logout of the group. If only one user is
still in the group, logout may be forbidden or a warning message
is displayed asking for logout confirmation. Web based administration, enable administrator to define configuration, default parameters and control application. Subscription service parameters may be set up to define specific monitoring mode or format as well as group(s) name for login and supervision.
